To obtain a catalyst component for α-olefin polymerization using a manganese complex, a group VII transition metal complex which has never been known as a catalyst component and/or a catalyst for α-olefin polymerization, to obtain a catalyst comprising the catalyst component, and to provide a method for producing polyolefin using the catalyst.
This catalyst component for α-olefin polymerization is obtained by carrying a manganese complex on a magnesium compound. The catalyst for α-olefin polymerization comprises the catalyst component obtained by carrying the manganese complex on the magnesium compound and an organic aluminum compound. The method for producing polyolefin comprises polymerizing an α-olefin using the catalyst for α-olefin polymerization comprising the catalyst component obtained by carrying the manganese complex on the magnesium compound and an organic aluminum compound.
