Title:
CATALYST COMPOSITION FOR HYDROGENATION OF AROMATIC HYDROCARBON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001079416
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To demonstrate a high hydrogenation function by making a carrier comprising ultra-stabilized Y-type zeolite in which the mole ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 is within a specified range and alumina-boria carry at least one of noble metals of group VIII in the periodic table.

A catalyst composition which can reduce polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in light oil is prepared by making a carrier comprising ultra- stabilized Y-type zeolite in which the mole ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 is 100-800 and alumina-boria carry at least one of noble metals of group VIII in the periodic table. A weight ratio of the zeolite/alumina-boria is preferably 30/70-70/30. In the alumina-boria, a weight ratio of Al2O3/SiO2 is preferably 97/3-70/30.
