Abstract:
To provide a catalyst composition and a method concerning the preparation thereof and to provide a method for preparing a polymer, which comprises polymerizing an ethylenic unsaturated monomer including a non-polar olefin monomer, a polar olefin monomer, and a combination thereof in the presence of the catalyst composition.
Provided are: the catalyst composition that contains at least one cationic metal-pair complex and contains a complex with a specific structure wherein a through-space between the nuclei of metal atoms forming a pair is 1.5-20 and a polymer that is prepared by polymerization using the catalyst composition.
