Abstract:
To provide a catalyst evaluation method that can evaluate whether or not the desired high-temperature resistance is comprised.SOLUTION: A catalyst evaluation method is a method for evaluating a catalyst intended to oxidize SO2 gas to SO3. After immersing the catalyst in a ferrous sulfate aqueous solution, the catalyst is calcined at a calcination temperature of 380°C to 650°C ±5°C, in an inert gas atmosphere where an oxygen density is 10 vol.% to 15 vol.%, and cooled then the hardness thereof is measured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
