PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic reaction control device capable of promoting and controlling catalytic activity by an external power source, in a gas phase reaction.SOLUTION: In a catalytic reaction control device including a catalyst material, a counter electrode, a solid electrolyte layer arranged between the catalyst material and the counter electrode, and an external power source connected electrically to the catalyst material and the counter electrode, capable of applying a voltage thereto, the catalyst material has a dense film shape not conductive to a constituent element or constituent ion species of the electrolyte layer, and the thickness of the catalyst material is 12 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
