Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst more excellent in conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: There is provided a catalyst in which a catalytic substance is carried on a thermoelectric material. In the catalyst, the catalytic substance generates an exothermic reaction of 10°C or higher or an endothermal reaction, when raw material gas 20 is adsorbed onto its surface. In the catalyst, the catalytic substance having an average grain size of 3 nm or less is carried on the thermoelectric material. In the catalyst, the thermoelectric material is a carbon nano-tube, BiTe or MgSi.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
