Abstract:
To enhance a reaction speed at a catalytic reduction treatment of nitric acid and to realize downsizing of a device and enhancement of a treatment efficiency.
The catalyst for reducing nitric acid comprises a nickel based composite catalyst containing nickel and platinum. In the method for treating nitric acid-containing water, nitric acid in the nitric acid-containing water is subjected to catalytic reduction by hydrogen in the presence of the catalyst for reducing nitric acid.
