Abstract:
To provide a catalyst, a method for producing the same, and a method for producing a N-alkyl imidazole-based compound in the technical field of organic synthesis, and also provide a catalyst comprising an active ingredient and an acid-treated carrier.SOLUTION: A carrier is silicon-alumina oxide and/or silica, an active ingredient comprises a metal oxide, and metal elements in the metal oxide includes one or more of zirconium, niobium, hafnium, tantalum, calcium, magnesium, copper, nickel, iron, cobalt, zinc, and rare earth elements.EFFECT: The catalyst provided by the present invention can be used for catalyst preparation of N-alkyl imidazole-based compounds. As a result, a method for producing a N-alkyl imidazole-based compound is simplified, the reaction conditions are mild, and a yield and a selectivity of the reaction product are increased. The results of the examples show that the yield of the reaction product is 55% to 93% and the selectivity is 90% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
