Title:
CATALYTIC BURNING IRON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07698
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To keep a stable burning state without lowering the temperature of a catalyst even when steam is generated in a catalytic burning iron for smoothing the wrinkle of a cloth by the heat obtained by catalytically burning a liquefied fuel gas.

CONSTITUTION: A liquefied fuel gas is evaporated and blown out through a nozzle from a liquefied fuel tank provided on an iron body, and a mixed gas with air is supplied to a combustion chamber 7. A first catalyst 9b and a second catalyst 11b are provided in the combustion chamber 7, and an evaporating chamber 8 is heated by the burning heat by the first catalyst 9b, the first catalyst 9b is kept at a high temperature by the burning heat by the second catalyst 11b arranged close to the first catalyst 9b, and a base 10 is also heated thereby.
