The catheter with a reinforcing wire material 8 includes: an inner layer 6; an intermediate layer 7 laminated on the outer periphery of the inner layer 6; the reinforcing wire material 8 wound spirally along the intermediate layer 7; and an outer layer 9 laminated on the outer periphery of the intermediate layer 7 and the reinforcing wire material 8. The reinforcing wire material 8 is arranged so as to bite into the intermediate layer 7, and the catheter is formed.
