Abstract:
To provide a catheter for relieving urinary tract obstruction of a male cat, allowing easily operating even with one hand and relieving the urinary tract obstruction by sufficiently dilating the urethra.SOLUTION: A tip opening part 5 is formed at a tip of a tube 2 with a lumen 4, and side holes 6 are formed at prescribed positions behind the tip opening 5 perpendicular to a central axis of the lumen 4 of the tube 2. An opening area of the tip opening part 5 is larger than an opening area of the side holes 6. The plurality of side holes 6 are formed at equal intervals apart in the circumferential direction. A base material 3 having a diameter larger than that of the tube 2 is integrally provided at the base end of the tube 2, and a through-hole 11 communicating with the lumen of the tube 2 is formed in the base material 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
