Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter system for safely pulling out a balloon whose shape is disorganized, and a catheter.SOLUTION: A catheter system 1 includes: a catheter 10 which comprises a long shaft part 20, a balloon 30 which is arranged on a distal end side of the shaft part 20 and is expandable as a fluid flows in the inside, and an auxiliary part 50 which covers an outer peripheral surface of a proximal end part of the balloon 30 from a proximal end side, has a projection part 52 formed on an outer surface, and can expand and contract in association with the expansion and contraction of the balloon 30; and a guiding catheter 60 which is formed into a tubular shape for accommodating the catheter 10 in the inside and has a receiving part 21 that is formed into a shape for allowing the projection part 52 to be fitted for receiving the auxiliary part 50 at a distal end part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
