Abstract:
To provide a cationic electro-deposition coating composition which is excellent in corrosion resistance and finishing properties of an edge part and a plane part even in a thin film, and a coated article which is excellent in various coated film performances.SOLUTION: A cationic electro-deposition coating composition contains an amino group-containing epoxy resin (A) and a blocked polyisocyanate compound (B), further contains 0.1-40 mass% of epoxy resin crosslinked particles (C) and 0.1-40 mass% of clay mineral (D) based on the total mass of solid contents of the amino group-containing epoxy resin (A) and the blocked polyisocyanate compound (B), and has a number average molecular weight of the epoxy resin crosslinked particles (C) of 100,000 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
