Title:
CATIONIC POLYMER ELECTROLYTE COPOLYMER AND ITS USE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2620180
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject copolymer useful as an antibody adsorption latex diagnostic and an immunoassay material, not causing obstruction of a surfactant due to absence of soap, by grafting an olefin onto a cationic partial substituted material of a specific polyol.
CONSTITUTION: This copolymer is obtained by grafting (B) an olefin onto (A) a cationic partial substituted material of a polyol comprising a water-soluble polyol of formual III having 2-5,000% graft ratio as a parent material composed of a unit of a cationic derivative of a water-soluble polyol of formula I {Ac is acetyl; X is a group of the formula, (CH2)nR1 [R1 is NH+3, NH+(CH3)2, etc.; (n) is 1-3] or a group of the formula, COR2 (R2 is CH2.NH+3); (b) and (c) are each a positive number, 0<b<1, b+c<1 (x) is 5-50,000} as a trunk polymer, making a bond site by removing H of the OH and composed of a unit of a polymer of formula II [R4 to R6 are H or CH3; R7 is a group of the formula, COOR8 (R8 is H or a 1-12C alkyl) or OH; (m) is 20-200,000] as a graft chain.
