Patent Searching and Data

Title:
CDMA RECEIVER FOR PATH SEARCHING, PATH SEARCHING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3838877
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a path search method by which a CDMA receiver efficiently conducts path search according to prescribed priority.
SOLUTION: In the path search method of this invention, all areas of a delay profile to retrieve a peak power are divided into two or more areas, and a higher frequency of retrieval is set to an area where the total sum of peak powers of paths is greater in the respective areas. The CDMA receiver carrying out the method is provided with an area data segmentation section that segments area data, a peak position detection section that detects a peak position of each area, an area index calculation section that decides and manages the priority of each area, and an area designation calculation section that designates the area with high priority to the area data segmentation section.
