PURPOSE: To decrease the protruded dimension of a ceiling suspending type unit by arranging a blower and a heat exchanger on the same plane to blow-in the air current from the absorption surface at the central part of the lower surface and blowing off and air current from both sides on the lower surface after cooling.
CONSTITUTION: The blower 1, a motor 2 for the blower and the heat exchanger 3 are constructed on the same plane. A front cover 13, a right side cover 14, a left side cover 14, and a rear cover 16 are provided, and a panel 9 has a suction port 11 at its central part 11 and blow-off ports 10 at both sides, the blow-off ports 10 being provided at two positions on both sides of the suction port 11. The panel 9 is screwed to the covers. Air flow is sucked up through the suction port 11 at the central portion during the driving and blasted to the heat exchanger 3 by the blower 1. Cool air flow cooled by said heat exchanger 3 hits against the inner side of the front cover 13 to convert its direction, and then is blown off through the blow-off ports 10 opened to both sides of the lower surface.
