Title:
CEILING-INSTALLED AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6354538
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the temperature variation in the room even if the installation is made in the ceiling close to the wall surface by fixing the direction of air blown out of the room side outlet in the room and disposing a louver in the center side outlet to change the direction of air vertically.

CONSTITUTION: When cross flow fans 4, 5 and an electric motor 22 are operated, the room air is taken in from an intake grill 12 in a cosmetic panel 11 and blown out of two outlets 13, 14 after being temperature-conditioned by heat exchangers 6, 7. In this process, the air delivered out of the outlet 13 near the wall is directed downward by a second guide plate 18, and the flow of the air delivered out of the outlet 14 near the center of the room is driven by the electric motor 22. The air is guided to the center of the room as it is vertically shifted by the oscillation of a louver 19. Therefore, even if an air conditioner 1 is installed in the ceiling near to the wall of the room, the temperature variation in the room can be reduced.
