To provide cell culture containers with an excellent gas permeation performance and strength for culturing cells at high density.SOLUTION: Provided is a bag-shaped, closed cell culture container 1 having at least one port 12 and formed by opposing planar members 11, at least one of the planar members 11 consisting of a gas permeable film, a culture space S for culturing cells being provided on the inner surface side of the container in the gas permeable film, a plurality of thin-walled portions 111 and convex portions 112 being formed on the surface of the gas permeable film forming the culture space S, and the thickness of the thin-walled portion 111 being 75 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
