To provide a cell search processing apparatus, a mobile station with the cell search processing apparatus mounted thereon, and a cell search processing method capable of reducing the power consumption in the case of a selection composite state wherein data transmitted from a plurality of base stations are received, correctly received data of the base stations are selected, and the selected data are combined.
The television receiver comprises: a CPICH level measurement section 203 for measuring channel quality such as reception electric field strength of synchronization wireless channels of the base stations or the like; a transmission timing storage section 205 for storing a data transmission timing of each base station; and a cell selection section 204, and selects a threshold value with respect to the channel quality used for selecting the base stations on the basis of a timing difference when the same data are transmitted so as to select the base stations of selection composite objects thereby reducing the number of received data of the stations and reducing the power consumption.
