Abstract:

To provide a cell unit for a fuel battery, which can reduce the size of the fuel battery with current collection efficiency increased due to reduction of contact resistance acting between an anode and a cathode, and a collector, and capable of reducing a thickness of an end plate without degradation of its performance; and to provide its manufacturing method.

The cell unit for a fuel battery includes an electrolyte membrane, an electrode unit equipped with an anode formed on one surface of the electrolyte membrane and a cathode formed on the other surface, and a porous collector formed on the electrode unit.
