Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lengthen the service life of cell by employing conductive and organnic complex composed of organic compound cation or anion and electrolytic ion as the electrode active substance thereby increasing and stabilizing the cell valtage.
CONSTITUTION: In a lithium cell, conductive and organic complex composed of organic compound cation or anion and electrolytic ion is employed as the electrode active substance. As said organic compound, electron donative compound such as tetrathiafluvalene (TTF) or electron receptive compound such as tetracyanoparaquinodimethane (TCNQ) is selected. This organic cell has high energy density and excellent charge/discharge characteristic.
