To provide a cellulose acetate film having excellent tear strength, folding endurance and optical properties together with a good storage stability over a long period of time, and to provide an optical film, polarizer, optical compensation film, liquid crystal display, substrate for a silver halide photographic photosensitive material, etc., using the same film.
A cellulose acylate film is produced by a method involving a casting process by which a cellulose acylate composition comprising a cellulose acylate, a monofunctional polyester macromonomer (M) having a functional group at either end of the principle polymer chain and a weight average molecular weight of ≤2×104, a polymerizable monomer (A) and a photopolymerization initiator (L) is cast, and a photoirradiation process.
