To provide fine particles containing a semi-synthetic polymer of a cellulose derivative and having excellent tactile sensation.SOLUTION: Cellulose derivative particles include an alkoxy group having 2 or more carbon atoms or an acyl group having 3 or more carbon atoms, and have an average particle size from 80 nm to 100 μm inclusive, a sphericity from 70% to 100% inclusive, and a surface smoothness from 80% to 100% inclusive, where the total substitution degree of the cellulose derivative is from 0.7 to 3 inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: None
