Abstract:
To provide a method for producing cellulose nanofiber having little foreign matters in an efficient manner from a fiber source material having pulp fiber as a main component.SOLUTION: A producing method of cellulose nanofiber according to the present disclosure is a method for producing cellulose nanofiber comprising mechanically fibrillating pulp fibers with a stone type triturator, and characterized in that: 1) Abrasive grains of the grinding wheel for use in the stone type triturator is an abrasive grain of F14 or more and F80 or less as defined in the "JISR6001:1998 Particle Size of a Grinding Stone"; 2) The pulp fibers are treated with one type of a grindstone plate for use in the stone type triturator; and 3) The pulp fibers are subjected to attrition milling by using the stone type triturator at 5 kwh or more and 100 kwh or less of the power consumption per kg of the pulp fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: None
