To improve efficiency of a two-stage crushing facility by a vertical crusher and a ball mill.
In this crushing facility of cement clinker provided with the vertical type crusher, a classifier separating raw material taken out of the lower part of the vertical type crusher into fine powder and coarse powder for taking out, and the ball mill pulverizing the fine powder taken out of the classifier for producing product, by using a Sturtevant type classifier requiring no external fan, power required for classification can be reduced, and by introducing gas from the lower part of the vertical crusher and taking out 15-35 wt.% of the raw material with the gas from the upper part, excessive crushing of the raw material of a small particle size can be avoided to improve the crushing efficiency. Further, by sorting and separating fine powder of particle sizes easy for crushing in the ball mill by the classifier, production efficiency of the ball mill can be enhanced.
