To provide a center type taping device capable of eliminating winding tension monitoring work by automating adjustment of the winding tension of a tape when winding the tape around a cable.

This center type taping device is formed of a flyer to be rotated by the power from a driving unit, a receiver plate and a presser plate to be rotated with the flyer to hold the winding tape. The flyer is provided with several hysteresis brakes, and each hysteresis brake is interlocked with each other through a small gear and a large gear, and the tension of the winding tape can be decided by adjusting the number of hysteresis brake.
