PURPOSE: To improve position precision of a vehicle, to perform smooth transfer of a cargo, and to relieve the burden of a driver without exerting unreasonable load on the spot of a vehicle during loading and unloading.

CONSTITUTION: A centering device for a vehicle for transporting a cargo comprises a positioning support bed 3 fixed to the rear part of the load-carrying platform 2 of a vehicle; and a lifter 6 to elevate the load-carrying platform. The lifter is provided with an elevating table 7 having right and left position regulating members 8, having right and left guide slopes 8a combined together to form the elevating table formed in a shape spreading toward an end. Right and left position regulating members 4 having support surfaces 4a corresponding to the respective guide slopes and positioned and guided are removably attached to the positioning support bed 3 through a shim 5 for regulating a mounting position. A wheel guide member and a wheel stopper are installed on a ground and a cargo guide member to guide a cargo in a moving direction.
