Title:
CENTERING JIG FOR WELDING PIPING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3204440
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe centering jig for welding which is capable of a centering operation of heat transfer pipes mutually on one side of the wall panel of a boiler furnace.
SOLUTION: The centering jig 10 is constituted of a base 22 and a pressing jigs 24, 26. The base 22 is formed with centering curved grooves 28A, 28B, 30A, 30B corresponding to the outer diameter size of a heat transfer pipe. The pressing jigs 24, 26 connected to the base 22 are formed in a plane and insertable from the front side to the rear side of the furnace wall panel through a welding operational space 18. On both sides of the pressing jigs 24, 26, a circular-arcuate curved groove is formed corresponding to the outer diameter size of the heat transfer pipe. The pressing jigs 24, 26 are inserted from the front side of the furnace wall panel into the welding operation space 18; after they are positioned on the rear side of the furnace wall panel, the heat transfer pipes 14A, 14A are held between the curved grooves of the pressing jigs 24, 26 and that of the base 22; and then, nuts 44, 46 are fastened so that a centering operation is performed of the heat transfer pipes mutually.
