Abstract:
To grind a shaft-like work w in a wide diameter range without replacing a support blade 17.
This centerless grinding machine comprises a support blade 17 installed along a lateral direction and in which a regulating grinding wheel 7 is disposed on one of the front and rear sides of the support blade 17 and a grinding wheel 11 is disposed on the other side. Cutouts 17d with a specified width are formed in the support blade 17 at specified upper lateral positions from the regulating grinding wheel 7 side. On the other hand, annular recessed parts 7d are formed in the regulating grinding wheel 7 at specified peripheral surface lateral positions to allow parts between the cutouts 17d and 17d to enter therein.
