To efficiently transmit measurement value data from a cooling device to host control equipment.
Each cooling device of a refrigeration showcase or the like is provided with an electronic controller having a control part inputting measurement data from a sensor measuring the internal temperature and controlling the internal temperature to a set value and a communication part periodically transmitting the measurement data to the host control equipment. The control part transmits differential data containing a differential value between the measurement data from the temperature sensor and the set value, its sign, and a flag showing the presence/absence of alarm to the host control equipment through the communication part. Since a smaller differential value contained in the differential data shows more accurate data, the measurement data can be efficiently transmitted.
