Abstract:
To secure a blast amount during incurring of a high pressure loss without worsening of noise or disadvantages in terms of cost by a method wherein a suction port is also formed on the base plate side of a single suction type multivane fan.
A centrifugal blower comprises an electric motor 1; and a volute helical casing 3 to contain a centrifugal multivane fan 2 for single suction to suck air through a bellmouth-form suction port 3a. When a fan motor is assembled at the casing 3, a gap δ is provided between the lower plate 3e of the casing 3 and the mounting plate 1a of the electric motor 1.
