Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a discharge direction by turning a swirl of a casing to the rotational direction of an impeller at a specified angle, with respect to a center line of a discharge port of the casing.
SOLUTION: This blower is constituted such that a center line 3 of swirl of a casing 1 is turned only at an angle θ to the rotational direction of an impeller 4, with respect to a center line 2 of a discharge port 1a, and thereby the center of discharge port of the casing 1 comes close to the center of suction port. Accordingly, a high speed portion of air flow comes close to the vicinity of center of the discharge port, which causes no generation of a large difference in pressure loss even bending a duct just behind the discharge port of the casing in the blower to the same direction as the rotational direction of the impeller 4, or bending to the opposite direction, or making straight without bending it. As a result, only pressure loss in a normal bent duct is considered.
