PURPOSE: To prevent the local concentration of load and to improve the durability of the ceramic burner by a method wherein the burner to be fixed to the body of an engine is supported by a plurality of arms held by a cap of the burner in a resilient fashion.

CONSTITUTION: The downstream side end of the ceramic burner 2 having a fuel injection valve 20 is connected to a scroll 3 through a hook section 10 provided on the inner periphery of the scroll and the upstream side shoulder of the burner 2 is supported by the plurality of arms 12 through tonguelike plates 13 attached to the burner while the arms 12 urging the burner toward the downstream side are resiliently supported by spring means 11. Each of the plates 13 has a baglike fixing section 17 through which the top end of each of the arms is inserted. Further, in order to prevent each of the arms 12 from spreading out in the radial direction, a plurality of fixing frames 18 each having a tubular section 19 at one end thereof are fixed to the head of the burner 2 at portions near a swirler 4 so as to make the arms 12 pass through the tubular secrions, respecrively, so that the movement of each of the arms 12 in the radial direction is prevented.
