Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the beautiful decorative plate having the curved surface matching to operational condition easily by a method in which the decorative plate is composed of a plurality of synthetic resin coating layers formed on the gypsum plate mixed with the flexible fiber by contained water and the printed decorative layer provided between said layers, and the glass transition temperature of said resin is set to be equal to the temperature of normal use or lower, and then the construction applicable to the object to be worked with a curved surface, is used.

CONSTITUTION: The surface of a base 1 is coated with Toa asbestos sealer No.20 as stock solution to improve the adhesion of a coating layer, and a sealer layer 2 is formed by drying it naturally. Next, the whole area of the sealing layer 2 is uniformly coated with the acryl urethane resin coating having opacifying property and the regulated glass transition temperature of at most 0°C. Then, said material is stayed in the drying furnace of the hot blast of 80°C for five minutes, thereby forming a coating layer 3. While said surface is kept at most 30°C, a transferring film is pressure-bonded on the surface of the coating layer 3 by the roll heated to at least 150°C, and the ink printed on said film is caused to permeate into the coating layer 3, thereby forming a printed surface 4. Then a clear 5 is formed by hot blast drying for five minutes. Thus, the decorative plate of ceramic industry with printed decorative layer may be obtained.
