Abstract:
To provide a ceramic heater capable of both rapid temperature rise characteristics and durability.SOLUTION: A ceramic heater 10 comprises: a base 11 consisting of insulating ceramics including an insulating material and extended in the axial direction; and a conductor 14 consisting of a conductive ceramics including an insulating material and a conductive material and embedded in the axial direction in the inside of the base. When a predetermined range of 10000 μmin a cross section vertical to the axial direction of the conductor is viewed, one or more segregated parts segregated with the insulating material exist; all the segregated parts have 20 μm or less of the diameter of an inscribed circle contacting the inner side of the segregated part; and at least one first segregated part having 6 μm or more of the diameter of an inscribed circle contacting the inner side of the segregated part exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
