Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing the generation of cracks in a ceramic heater.SOLUTION: A ceramic heater comprises: a base part containing silicon nitride; and a resistor embedded in the base part. The resistor contains silicon nitride and a conductive material. The resistor also has: a heating part which generates heat when it is brought into conduction; and a pair of lead parts connected to the heating part. The average particle diameter of the silicon nitride contained in the heating part is equal to or more than 1.1 times the average particle diameter of the silicon nitride contained in the base part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
