Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the precursor useful for obtaining a ceramic excellent in hardness, resistance to abrasion, etc., by contg. a plurality of complexed block units specified respectively with respect to a high moleculer weight AlN/SiC ceramic precursor.
CONSTITUTION: In a high molecular weight AlN/SiC ceramic precursor plural block units of formula I and a complexed block unit of formula II or III [where (x) is >1 (y) is >1 block of (x) and (y) are linked through Si-N-Al bonding; R1-2 are each H, (un-) satd. 1-12C alkyl, 3-12C cycloalkyl, 2-12C alkenyl, 3-12C cycloalkenyl or aryl; R3-5 are each H, (un-) satd. 1-6C alkyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl, 3-6C (cyclo-) alkenyl, 3-6C alkinyl or aryl; however all of R1-5 are not H; A is O or S] are contained.
