Abstract:
To provide a chain which can suppress a bend of a linear structure which is formed of a plurality of links by a simple constitution, and a chain drive unit.SOLUTION: A chain 13 has a plurality of links 18 which are arranged in series, and the links 18 which adjoin each other in a serial direction are connected to each other so as to be turnable. The chain is bendable to one side of a direction intersecting with the serial direction, non-bendable to the other side which is reverse to one side, and used by being advanced and contracted in the serial direction. Each link 18 has a turn regulation part 21 for regulating a turn to one side of the other engaged link 18 by being engaged with the other link 18 which is arranged ahead of two links in a progress direction Z1 when the plurality of links 18 are arranged so as to be aligned in a linear shape by being moved to the progress direction Z1, and form a linear structure 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
