Title:
CHAIN SAW SETTING AUXILIARY TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010264583
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a setting auxiliary tool including a compact lightweight and easy-handling blade length measuring function which clearly guides a blade setting angle during setting of the blade of a chain saw, and also fixes the blade at the same time, thus being usable for almost all saw chains having different sizes.

The blade is firmly fixed by grippingly holding it while pressing from above a side plate 1, an upper plate 2, and a guide plate 4 by a hand to cover them from above a chain. When setting a right blade, the setting auxiliary tool is attached to the right side of a bar, and an angle is set along the line of the guide plate 4. A left blade is attached to the left side thereof, and an angle is set along a line on the opposite side. The length of the blade is measured by a blade length scale 5, and the setting into the same length is carried out.
