Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain tensioning device of a chain conveyor of simple structure capable of performing tensioning work of a conveyor chain easily and quickly, at a low facility cost.SOLUTION: In a mechanism of this device, a bearing which supports both end parts of a follower shaft of a chain conveyor at a side part of the conveyor is arranged on a slide plate installed at the side part of the conveyor while being movable in a length direction of the conveyor is allowed, and the slide plate is moved back and forth by a fluid pressure cylinder arranged at the side part of the chain conveyor to adjust a tension state of the conveyor chain. This device further has a structure in which the slide plate is fixed to a predetermined position by a screw rod.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
