Title:
CHAIR DURING BATHING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01238863
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of an accident and to enable execution of a bath in orientation suited for a body state, by a method wherein a chair made of a water resistant and corrosion resistant material is placed during a bath, each node part of the chair is easily bent at a specified angle, and a balance of orientation due to buoyancy is held by means of a foothold part.

CONSTITUTION: A bathing person seats on a chair used during bathing placed during bathing, and arm rest parts 8 are raised upward. The arm rest parts 8 are formed such that two arms are rested thereon, and a distance between arm rests on both sides is freely changeable. An angle at which a back rest part 1 is fallen backward along with raising of the arm rest parts 8 is set to a value lower than 30°. A hip part 2 is only longitudinally slid within a support bed 7, and a nip angle between the support bed part 7 and a croch seat part 3 is rotated in a 30° arc centering around a boundary line 10 between the hip part 2 and a knee seat part 3 and rotated around a boundary line 11 between the croch seat part 3 and the knee seat part 4, and a node part is rotated in an arc of a nip angle of 150°W180° formed between the croch seat part 3 and the knee seat part 4. Further, a foothold part 6 is rotated around a central fixed part 12 and lifted frontward upward from a containing groove formed in a foot seat part 5. The foothold part 6 prevents the occurrence of an unbalance of orientation due to buoyancy of a bathing person.
