PURPOSE: To easily and safely take skiers in a chair lift by arranging a conveyor lift to transfer the skiers to a riding point at speed lower than speed of the chair lift along a riding section of the chair lift to carry the skiers.

CONSTITUTION: A chair 11 in which a skier 14.1 gets on is connected to a cable 10 by a clip 12. The cable 10 travels by changing its direction by a return pulley 25 and connecting two terminals. In this case, a conveyor belt 16 to transfer a skier 14.2 at speed lower than the cable 10 in a riding section 13 of a travelling route, and a drum 17 winding its one end part around it is rotationally driven by a motor 18. Additionally, a gate 20 to be driven to open and close by a motor 26 is arranged on an inlet side of the riding section 13. Furthermore, a chair passing detector 22 is arranged on a tower 21 supporting the cable 10, and the speed of the conveyor belt 6 and the opening and closing of the gate 20 are controlled by a central control device 23 in accordance with this detection signal, etc.
