The chair is provided with a plurality of telescopic support legs 8 supporting a chair body 1 vertically and telescopically relative to a floor 6 independently to each of at least vertical and right-and-left of the seat part 3 of the chair body 1 composed of the seat part 3 and the back part 4, a plurality of telescopic driving mechanisms 20a to 20d telescopically driving the plurality of telescopic support legs 8 independently, and inclined sensors 26, 27 detecting the inclination of the floor 6. When the inclination of the floor 6 is detected by these inclined sensors 26, 27, the seat part 3 of the chair body 1 is maintained to be in a horizontal state by driving the telescopic driving mechanisms 20a to 20d according to the inclined angle of the floor 6.
