To provide a chair type massage machine facilitating a seating operation in a case where a leg-rest part is projected frontward.
This chair type massage machine is provided with a seat part 1, armrest parts 4 provided in the both right/left sides of the seat part 1, and the leg-rest part 3 rotationally provided in the front part of the chair. The leg-rest part 3 is changeable from a storage state of being stored in the upper part of the seat part 1 and between the both armrest parts 4 into a developed state of being projected to the front of the seat part 1. The state where the upper faces 4a of the armrest parts 4 are in the positions higher than the upper face 1a of the seat part is defined as the ordinary state. When the leg-rest part 3 is in the developed state, the armrest parts 4 can be lowered to the positions where their upper faces 4a become approximately same height positions to the upper face 1a of the seat part 1.
