Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which can assist a user with declining muscles to sit on and stand up.
SOLUTION: This chair has the base body 1, a back rest 24 equipped rotatably in the longitudinal direction around the lower part as the supporting point to the rear end side of the base body 1, a seat body 11 positioned in front of the backrest and equipped rotatably on the base body in a direction the rear end side is raised and having arm rests 18 on both sides, and a drive shaft 35 and a drive source 34 to drive forward/rearward the drive shaft 35. A drive mechanism 40 to turn the seat body 11 in a direction the rear end side is raised by driving the drive shaft from the neutral position to the forward direction and to drive the backrest to be reclined by driving from the neutral position to the rearward direction.
