To provide a chamfering device capable of chamfering even an elliptic or bent pipe rod or a pipe rod of uneven thickness, in such a way that it is chamfered by an approximately uniform amount along its circumferential direction.

The chamfering device for a pipe P includes a rotating portion 10 for rotating the pipe P, and rotating portions 20 and 30 comprising respective follow-up rollers 21 and 31 which rotate following the rotating pipe P; respective chamfering tools 22 and 32 provided on the horizontal extension lines of the lower ends of the follow-up rollers 21 and 31; respective tool moving mechanisms 23 and 32 for moving the tools 22 and 32 along the axis of the pipe rod; and respective lifting tables 24 and 34 which move vertically following the vertical movement of the follow-up rollers 21 and 31, with the rollers 21 and 31, the tools 22 and 32, and the tool moving mechanisms 23 and 32 mounted on the lifting tables.
