PURPOSE: To provide a change payout device which can shorten the vertical size of a coon shooter because the depth of the coin shooter can be shortened by utilizing a part of a slider as a slanting attitude guide surface for falling coins and the coins are forcible held at an upright attitude by a coin attitude control member.

CONSTITUTION: The coins 10a stored in a coin storage part 121a fall in a coin reception part 121b and the slanting surface of the coin reception part 121b serves as a slide guide surface for a coin 10a, so that the coin fall in the coin shooter 13. The falling coin 10a slide and fall in a coin guide groove 14 through the coin shooter 13, but a lower slider 122 pushes the upper part of the coin 10a on the return path of the slider, so that the coin is controlled to have the upright attitude around the coin guide groove 14 as fulcrum. Consequently, the opening direction of the coin guide groove 14 corresponding to the coin attitude and the coin is smoothly paid out to a coin payout opening.
