This channel coding and decoding device is provide with an outgoing transmission line interface part 11 having a 1st memory 22, an outgoing encoding part 12 having a 2nd memory 23, a coding processing part and a 3rd memory 26, an outgoing transmission line interface part 13 having a 4th memory 27, an incoming transmission line interface part 14 having a 5th memory 32, an incoming decoding processing part 15 having a 6th memory 33, a decoding processing part and a 7th memory 36, an incoming transmission line interface part 16 having a 8th memory 37 and a central operating part 17 which performs the detailed operation mode setting of each part.
