PURPOSE: To surely attain communication by decreasing number of channels to be received in the standby state to one and revising the channel when the channel is subject to effect of a disturbing wave.
CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 14 of a slave set sets information relating to a channel received in the standby state and starts counting a power off time for the intermittent operation. Then the set off time elapses, the received channel is confirmed and whether or not the channel is a pre-selected channel is discriminated, and when the channel is the selected channel, a radio section 11 sets the channel to be the received state and the reception state of the channel is discriminated based on the output signal from a squelch circuit 13. As a result, when the data signal is included, the state transits to the incoming state and when no data signal is in existence, the channel to receive in the standby state is revised. Thus, even when a disturbing wave is in existence in the selected channel, sure communication is implemented.
