Abstract:
To solve a problem in which a wireless communication system is evaluated on the basis of an average cell throughput of a system and/or its cell edge throughput, and a cell edge user experiences the low received signal strength, and the cell edge performance is affected by cell-to-cell interference, the frequency reuse limits the system interference when many or all cells perform transmission simultaneously on many or all time and frequency resources, and power boosting does not improve cell edge performance as both the serving cell signal strength and the interference signal strength are increased.SOLUTION: A method and a system for determining and communicating a CSI of one or more transmission points (channel state information (CSI) reference signal resources) are provided. The determination of the transmit state includes applying at least one transmit state parameter to the channel state information. Further reporting of the CSI based on the transmit state and/or at least one transmit state parameter applied thereto is contemplated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
